At roughly the ₱85,000–₱96,000 range, the ERVSD is considerably more expensive than basic electric motorcycles, but it also serves a different purpose.

You are not simply paying for two wheels and a motor. You are paying for a larger electric vehicle designed around practicality, stability, and utility.

Is the NWOW ERVSD Economical?


This is where electric vehicles like the ERVSD become particularly interesting.

You don't have gasoline costs.

Instead, you plug the vehicle into an electrical outlet and recharge the battery.

The electricity cost will depend on your local electricity rate and actual energy consumption, so I wouldn't claim that charging costs exactly a particular peso amount without measuring your specific unit.

But the fundamental economic advantage remains: electricity can be substantially cheaper than repeatedly buying gasoline for short-distance transportation, particularly when the vehicle is used frequently.

There are also fewer conventional engine components to maintain.

You don't have:

That doesn't mean an electric vehicle is maintenance-free.

It is also worth considering if you want to reduce dependence on gasoline and have a convenient place at home to charge the vehicle.

On the other hand, I would not recommend it as my first choice for someone who regularly travels long distances, needs to keep up with highway traffic, or expects motorcycle-like acceleration and speed.

There are better vehicles for those requirements.


My Verdict on the NWOW ERVSD

After looking at the specifications, pricing, practicality, and intended purpose, I see the NWOW ERVSD as a practical electric mobility vehicle rather than a traditional electric motorcycle.

Its strongest advantages are its low-speed usability, electric drivetrain, potentially low running cost, hydraulic suspension, disc brakes, and practical design.

Its biggest concerns are the use of a lead-acid battery, relatively low maximum speed, the uncertainty surrounding real-world range, and the long-term cost of battery replacement.

The current Philippine price also deserves careful consideration. NWOW's website has shown different ERVSD prices, including ₱85,000 and ₱96,000, so buyers should confirm the latest dealer price before budgeting.


Would I buy it?

If my daily transportation consisted mainly of short trips around town, barangay roads, subdivisions, and local destinations—and I wanted to eliminate gasoline expenses—I would definitely put the ERVSD on my shortlist.

But I would only purchase after confirming the battery warranty, replacement cost, actual charging time, parts availability, registration requirements, and exact specifications of the unit being sold.

For the right buyer, the NWOW ERVSD isn't about speed.

It's about getting from point A to point B cheaply, quietly, and practically.

And in a country where fuel prices, traffic, and everyday transportation expenses are constant concerns, that proposition has genuine appeal.
