Eat Bulaga Leaving GMA 7?


"Eat Bulaga!" has been with the Kapuso Network GMA 7 for about sixteen years now. They left ABS CBN on 1995. It started being our noontime 'tanghalian' companion last 1979 at the RPN 9 then later transferred to ABS CBN on 1989. The famous Dabarkads is now three decades dominating our noontime time slot!

Will they leave GMA 7 Kapuso Network?


Well, there's no reason to panic so better keep your maintenance medicine handy and manage to calm yourself down. Eat Bulaga! signed at GMA 7 for another 3 years. The TAPE Incorporated, Eat Bulaga's producer signed an extention contract with the GMA 7 Kapuso Network last Friday 11th of March. So there's really no worries as Eat Bulaga! will continue airing the show with the same Network until 2015.

During the contract extension signing, GMA Network chief executive officer Felipe Gozon, president and chief operating officer Gilberto Duavit were present. TAPE Incorporated president and chief executive officer Tony Tuviera and senior vice president Malou Choa-Fagar were also present during the signing.


Sen. Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey De Leon along with the Dabarkads Ruby Rodriguez, Anjo Yllana, Jimmy Santos and Allan K. were present during the contract extension signing ;-)

There it is folks, Eat Bulaga! is still Kapuso for another 3 years... or maybe more ^_^

    After 36 years on the airwaves since 1979 hosted by Tito Sotto Vic Sotto & Joey De Leon & his friends will be moving to TV5 next year in 2016 after 21 years in GMA network (1995-2016) the contract expires in 2017 as soon as possible & the show continues for 3 decades to come. I am not that young, though I am not that old to have watched the Manga Series Slum Dunk. A lot of people is being fascinated with the game of basketball. Almost everyone knows how to play the game. Maybe, just maybe, NBA really popularized the sports.
