USA trounces Italy, 3-0 Books Ticket to VNL Finals 2023

USA Superstar David Smith displayed a sizzling spikes, incredible tosses and electrifying defenses crushing down the defenseless Italy, 25-19, 25-18, 25-19 in the final 3rd set of the regulation of 2023 Men's VNL or Volleyball Nations League, Semi-finals held at Gdańsk, Poland, Saturday July 22.

Smith showcased his astonishing skills in spiking with 7 service aces leading his team to championship.

"It was hard, but it doesn't mean I'm weak," Smith said in an interview.

As soon as 3rd set starts, Smith and his teammates gained the opportunity to be the champion as they unleashed an incredible spikes dumping down the nemesis, 16-9.

By the end of the final set. Smith did not waste time and particularly blasted a ferocious spike in which the rival accepted their defeat and gave the USA contenders a sweet victory, 25-19.


"They were great players, they listen to my words carefully. I can really see that they worked really hard to enter the finals," delighted coach Ben said.
