Everytime the Christmas Season approaches, or say even
before the New Year explodes, people are wondering what could be the best gift
you'll ever have or received. Gadgets are the most appealing material thing you
can get this season, and the best gift to partner it with, is an app or a game
;-)
Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza and Alden Richards aka AlDub have a
great treat for the Aldub Nation. AlDub fans received another Christmas treat
from their favorite television pairing. As the official mobile game inspired by
noontime show Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye has recently been released for Android
devices.
According to Jenny Ferre, senior vice president of Tape, “Fans
fantasize about Alden and Yaya Dub. Now you can be Alden... through the mobile
game.”
Tape, a company owned by the Tuviera family, is the producer
of Eat Bulaga as well as other television programs. Eat Bulaga is the longest
noontime show in the Philippines, and probably the world. 36 years and still
counting!
How to get the download link, you might ask? For both Smart
and Talk N’ Text subscribers, you may text AlDub to 2600 to receive the game’s
download link.
In a video shared by the official Eat Bulaga Facebook page last December 19, Mendoza invites everyone to download the official AlDub mobile game AlDub You – Ang Hamon ni Lola Nidora via Google Play Store as she tries the mobile game for herself.

You might wonder who you will see on the game. Well, Kalyeserye
stars such as Yaya Dub, Alden, the Lolas, Rogelios, Quandos, and Bernardos are
featured in the game where users are tasked to guide Alden to overcome
obstacles in order to unlock special AlDub moments every seven levels.
The game created by Xurpas and TAPE Inc. was launched on the
noontime show last December 19.
The partnership between Tape and Xurpas was welcomed by Xurpas
chairman and CEO Nix Nolledo.
“We’re absolutely excited to work with a property as massive
as AlDub,” Nolledo said.
AlDub Nation now looks to set a new record in the mobile
games space with the launch of the mobile game.
Eat Bulaga and AlDub Nation set the world record of
garnering 41 million tweets in a single day last Oct. 24, surpassing the FIFA
World Cup and the Papal visit.
Users will need to register their Talk N’ Text or Smart
mobile number once they reach the game’s fourth level. It will only be free of
charge for the first three days, and then users will need to pay for their
subscription for the next days.
